Our Team

Wash Cycle was founded by Ashley and DJ Pesata alongside Samantha Watson. Like so many others, we've felt the strain of juggling a multitude of responsibilities - managing health issues, caring for infants, shuttling kids between sports practices, all while our dirty laundry piles up. In these whirlwinds of modern life, laundry simply gets deprioritized until it becomes an unmanageable situation.

As parents ourselves, we know all too well the laundry chaos that comes with kids who seem to change outfits every hour. Blink, and suddenly you're knee-deep in tiny shirts, pants, and more socks than you can count scattered across the house.

It was from living through these all-too-relatable laundry struggles that the vision for Wash Cycle took shape. A solution borne from real experiences and a deep understanding of the laundry woes families and professionals face.

We've also been in situations where some extra income would have made a big difference - whether for funding kids' activities, saving up for a vacation, or handling unexpected expenses. Like so many others, we've felt the strain of juggling hectic schedules and dealing with the high costs of childcare, making it difficult to find that flexible income opportunity.

It was from navigating these all-too-common struggles that the idea for Wash Cycle was born. By joining our community-driven company, you can be part of a solution that helps address the very real needs impacting so many households. Wash Cycle is about more than just laundry - it's about empowering people and strengthening communities.

Samantha Watson

Hi, I’m Sam! I have been told I am the quintessential boy mom and a true superwoman. My son and I live in Medina, and now that he's entering those pre-teen and teenage years, our lives are a whirlwind of endless sports practices and activities.

For me, one of the biggest headaches is staying on top of my son's uniforms and athletic gear. I know that panic all too well - when your child comes asking "Mom, is my uniform clean?" and you feel your heart drop as you frantically race against the clock to get it washed and dried in time. It's a scenario I want to help other busy families avoid.

Through sheer necessity, I have become a master of effective laundry schedules and routines to manage the mountains of sports laundry. I've perfected strategies for keeping socks matched, grass stains treated, and making sure the right jersey is clean for each practice or game day.

Now I am excited to share my hard-earned wisdom so other parents can confidently answer that dreaded "is my uniform clean?" question with a reassuring "Yes!" - no frantic scrambling required. My laundry processes are a lifeline I want to extend to all the superparents out there.

Ashley and DJ Pesata

We are Ashley and DJ Pesata and we know a thing or two about laundry - we live in Medina with our six kids, yes six! Managing that much laundry is a full-time job in itself. We have become unintentional laundry masters, embracing a skill we never aspired to but one that was absolutely vital with such a large family.

Having two sets of twins in the bunch means we intimately remember those bleary-eyed years of newborn chaos, with double the tiny onesies, spit-up stained burp cloths, and baskets overflowing with baby clothes. There were days when it felt like we spent more time doing laundry than anything else. Thankfully, my mom was always willing to lend a helping hand, taking loads off our plates (literally) by washing, drying, and returning our kids' laundry perfectly folded - looking neater than we could have managed at that exhausted stage.

It was such simple support, but laundering our clothes provided an immense lifeline when we felt like we were drowning in parenthood's demands. Just having that mountain of laundry taken care of gave us breathing room. We are now thrilled to pay that sanity-saving assist forward through Wash Cycle.
